Okay, now I see what all the fuss is about. Dance Animal is sheer fun and energy and dance craziness, everything from Dance Hippo's monologue to horny seniors ripping up the retirement home dance floor. You should tour! At least post some on Youtube.
I saw Dance Animal last night and it really was amazing. Great comedy! Great dance! I left the venue feeling happy and uplifted.
Wow!! I was in the sold-out house of Dance Animal last night and they didn't disappoint!!! The cast is stacked with talent and the choreography was awesome. Even though they are being dubbed as a dance show, i actually found the monologues as being the standout part of the show. That being said, when it came to the dancing, the "Bunny" number had me dying with laughter. Let's hope these animals stay together and bring us more.....
Saw this show on the weekend and was blown away. Lots of fun, great energy and it doesn't stop for one second. The dancers give their 110% every second and left us all laughing and wanting more. You gotta see it! Everyone in the cast were great, no weak links and it was really well coordinated given the numerous, humorous monologues and dances. SUPER.
Lovely show! Tight dance, good comic elements. The energy bounces off the stage and enters your feet and makes you want to wiggle, giggle and shake!
So much has been said about this show already so I'll keep it short and sweet: GO SEE THIS! You won't regret it. Probably the most energetic and hard-working cast at the fest this year. The perfect remedy for all-day-sun-soaked-beer-drinking. You'll leave rejuvenated. Robin Henderson is the sh*t!
thoroughly entertaining.....funny....great story and wonderful dancing.....congrats to Robin Henderson and her dance team
We traveled to Montreal from Ottawa on Saturday afternoon to see "Dance Animal Presents: Dance Animal" directed by Robin Henderson and we were thrilled that we did!! "Dance Animal" had our attention from the moment those animals first appeared on stage with "Dance Tiger". The dancing was phenominal; the music was fantistic; and the monologues had us laughing out loud. It was full of high energy and amazing actors/dancers!!! They should take "Dance Animal" on the road for all to see! Congratulations on a job well done to everyone involved!!!
Robin Henderson did a fantastic job. The monologues are laugh out loud. The choreography captures your attention for all the right reasons - emphasizing each person's strengths but also bringing the group together. They clearly have rehearsed lots. A very accessible show with sincere, amusing feel good moments. Every one in my group had big smiles when we left.
The Dance Animals have a show that makes dance fun - and funny! My favourite number was to "Rasputin" (Yes! The Boney M song!) Complete with costuming and characters, historical reenactments just hit a whole new level!
Energy and talent galore!! Never a dull moment. This is a real gem and a must see for everyone who loves theatre and dance!!
Saw Dance Animal last night, and thought it was hilarious, and so well rehearsed. Dance #'s were tight, characters well defined, and the overall concept interesting and original. Go check it out, and be sure not to piss off Dance Gecko (you'll find out why when you see the show!)
Dance Animal is AWESOME!!!!! We saw the show last night and laughed so hard. I'm totally going back. I want to be Dance Turtle. Totally go and see this show. So funny.
