Rocktober got off to a fine start this weekend, with sold-out shows of Teen Sleuth and a lovely anniversary party... Thanks to everyone for coming out, and welcome to Season 5!

For starters, tonight is the Quebec Drama Federation AGM at OFF-Interarts, 5145 St-Laurent. Registration (and wine & cheese) starts at 5:30, meeting @ 6. Represent, say hi to (and elect!) your board members (including y.t.). Did I mention wine and cheese? If you're also planning on going to the Equity meeting, don't sweat it, you'll be able to make both.

TEEN SLEUTH & THE FREED CYBORG CHOIR! The winners of the 2009 MainLine Frankie award return to enchant Pop Montreal audiences with 5 shows. Teen Sleuth is an unrecorded concept album from the future, which comes to life before your eyes, involving an orchestra/ choir, video/ animated projections, dance, & puppetry. Creative & co-musical director Ellen Smallwood has added 4 new songs to flesh out the story and take us further into the Teen Sleuth world.

Les récipiendaires d’un Frankie pour leur performance lors du Festival St-Ambroise Fringe de Montréal 2009 sont :

Les récipiendaires du 12ième Prix Frankies seront dévoilés ce soir, dimanche 21 juin, lors de la cérémonie annuelle qui se tiendra au Studio Juste pour Rire à 22h.
Les Prix Frankie seront remis aux artistes par, entre autres, Roy Surette, directeur artistique et exécutif du Théatre Centaur, pour le prix accordé à la meilleure production anglophone, et par Jeremy Hechtman, directeur général du Festival St-Ambroise Fringe de Montréal. 10 prix seront remis lors de cette soirée.
