1. Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is the primary link between the FRINGE, the volunteers and the public. The coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, scheduling and training of our 250+ volunteers. Other duties include marketing tasks such as maintaining the volunteer page on the festival website, creating a recruitment/social media campaign. They will be required to assist with overall festival organization and will organize special events for volunteers, such as parties, picnics and 5à7s. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (oral and written), comfortable with Microsoft Office, with excellent communication skills and work well under pressure. You will become a vital part of the FRINGE staff and learn how a festival is produced from the inside out.

Marketing Internships

The ideal candidate is interested in promotion and the arts. Interns will be working on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter ) and event preparation. The role requires social skills, professionalism and comfort working with computers (at a minimum familiarity with word processing and excel-like programs). The perfect candidates would have their own laptop computer to work from. Assets include fluency in both French and English. This position is non-remunerated, however chosen interns will receive a festival Superpass to see shows!
